Victorian Floridian Christmas

Trying to get into the holiday spirit? The Stranahan House can help. Nestled between the new high rises in Ft. Lauderdale along the New River, the Stranahan house reminds folks of old Florida living. Every year, the Stranahan house decorates this historic home and invites all to join in on the holiday festivities. The fun begins in the evening, so after spending the day in the lovely Florida sun, get dolled up and head over the Stranahan house for live music, holiday decor, and lovely ride down the New River to see the holiday lights on the grand Ft. Lauderdale homes. The Stranahan home was built in 1901 and underwent a major renovation in 1915. It has since been restored to its 1915 configuration.
